The flight in

Most visitors arrive on a short hop from St Maarten or Guadeloupe in a small propeller plane. The runway is short and the approach passes over a hill: it is quick, and memorable.

Inside the terminal

The terminal is small: bags arrive quickly and the car rental desks are right by the exit. There is no long walk and no shuttle bus.

Your first drive

The airport sits in Saint-Jean, between the beach and the road to Gustavia. Most villas and hotels are 5 to 20 minutes away. Drive on the right, at 50 km/h, and take the hills gently.

Not from North America or Europe: the runway only takes small aircraft. Most travellers connect through St Maarten or Guadeloupe.

Does the airport close at night?

Yes, flights only operate in daylight. Plan your arrival within our desk hours, 8 am to 6 pm.
